(October 9 - 11, 2008 - Baltimore Convention Center) Hosted by EduSerc and WelcomeBRAC.com, The Annual Career & Professional Development Conference (ACPDC), is taking place October 9-10, 2008 at the Baltimore Convention Center. A comprehensive event designed to prepare Marylanders for the next level of economic growth and development - today and tomorrow. The conference theme is "Re-Fueling the Economic Foundation of Maryland".
With over 60,000 jobs coming to Maryland in response to BRAC (Base Realignment and Closure), along with the job opportunities from building Maryland's infrastructure for our future, the ACPDC's objective is to educate and network all aspects of our community together so that businesses, contractors, government procurement agents and individuals can plan, prepare, and positively benefit from these opportunities.

Saturday, October 11th, as its closing ceremony; EduSerc will host its annual fundraiser, Educators Serving the Community Awards. This black-tie fundraiser honors individuals and organizations for their excellence in education, community service and advancements in the community.
